Leading edge technology provider is looking for a Technical Architect. The successful candidate will be required to provide innovative solutions to business requirements, and oversee the development and implementation of the solutions. Key responsibilities will include working closely with all IT functions as required to capture requirements for new and existing internally developed applications, design and development of the applications to ensure successful deployment within the clients internal technical framework, and providing realistic estimates for the work to be undertaken and ensuring that these estimates are adhered to. Other responsibilities will cover signing off functional and technical specifications, to provide technical leadership to ensure solutions are implemented in line with overall strategic framework, and the support other areas of the business where needed in technical advice for future solutions. Mandatory skills required: Java, PERL, J2EE, VXML, C++, JAVASCRIPT, Tomcat, Apache, and Sybase. The successful candidate will be well presented, articulate and motivated, with a strong can do attitude, and the ability to run with a technical challenge, without heavy supervision and will posses strong team leading abilities.
